You want pull out shelves. That’s really the only way to use the 24” depth you’ve got. IKEA pantries use Blum hinges on the door fronts and for the glides. Blum is where I’d start.

In our last kitchen, we had a cabinet 32" wide and 20" deep. The upper shelves were perfect for large, bulky items, like a big roasting pan and mixing bowl. When Hubby started gardening and canning, another upper shelf was used for quart jars, full and empty (as the year progressed). There were 2 sets of drawers, and lower shelves for bulk beer and soda storage. We had custom cabinets, and specifically designed the cabinet for what we wanted to store there.

With a 24" depth, using the back of the door would be ideal.

The bottom line is that the best storage solution for you depends entirely on what will be kept there. Do you need a place for a mop and broom? a step stool? small appliances? Different uses will require different storage solutions.

Annkh has the question that should be answered first. and, You will have another pantry, how will that one be used? How important is accessibility to the items in the space? How do you use your kitchen? This and the refrigerator flank the range? Is there a landing zone between them and the range? What is across the aisle?

Once all that information is known, ways to fulfill those needs will become clearer.

I will store canned food, boxed food, larger appliances (mixer, food processor, crockpot) in the walk-in. I envision this pantry for spices, oils, baking ingredients (flour, sugar, etc.). Basically all of the things I have in the upper cabinets that flank my range now. The new kitchen range will have 24" counter space on each side. There will be an island across the aisle.
