First paint everything that’s currently mid-to-dark gray, to (very slightly creamy) white.

Are those white chairs wicker? They seem ill-suited to this room; they might be ok in a bedroom or in a sunroom. Also, the couch blankets/sheets (?) seem out of place here. The room itself leans formal while the wicker and the blanketed couch are very INformal.

Most importantly, designate the entry. Paint the closet door black, as well. Choose a color you like and paint the walls under the drop ceiling.

First step you should just move what you have into this layout so you can see if you like the layout and determine what space you have for any new furnishings.

Your piano seems ill suited for the front entry. Is there another space it could be moved to? I would worry about that door

opening into the piano and dinging it. If you can move it, then you could place a bench there where people could

remove their shoes and boots. I love the light you have, very cool. Follow the suggestions here and see where they

take you.
