Do you have a sample door and have you taken a picture of it in your home standing up on that floor? I'm having a hard time loving your cabinet selection along with the kitchen floors. It doesn't seem timeless. It seems stuck in the late 90s.

But, for the kitchen counter, I'd go grey either soapstone or a grey granite like Jet Mist.

I woudl have chosen a much simpler cabinet if those floors stay they are not timeless. I think now a very simple counter and I might choose green soapstone if that floor has any green in it. If not then maybe just black granite .

Took me a minute to see that the first photo you posted is labeled sample. At first I thought these are the present cabinets in your kitchen and I asked myself why in the world anyone would want to replace those.

Right?!
