Help with master bath and closet!!

last month

We are rethinking adding a master closet addition to our house and wanted to see if anyone had any ideas on how to make better use of our space. Ideally we wanted to expand our bathroom into the closet space and add a closet. We originally wanted a wet room in our master bath but having a difficult time with floor plan now and finding space for our closets. Any ideas welcomed!

Not enough context. Please use jpegs, not screen shots. What was/is the goal. What needs. What does it look like now...add PICTURES, jpegs

    How MUCH more closet?

You need an accurately stated goal, there are no mind readers here. Wet room....why? You want a tub?

More info, no screen shots, all dimensions etc, for more help

Bathrooms with clothes closets seldom are good ideas and a "wet room" with a clothes closet is a worse idea.

This shows what it is now ??? I have no idea why anyone wants a wet room bathroom ever . You need to provide a lot more info please We need to see the before and the planned after . What I see now in the plan you posted is a functional space . Why is there a door going outside ? I agree the bathroom is not huge but I dislike huge bathrooms since I clean mine every day.

    Random thoughts:

    - Starting with the bedroom door: Enclose the little hallway space so that it is part of the bedroom. This allows the door swing to "park" in the little hallway rather than the bedroom, and it just looks better all around. You can re-use the existing door -- just move it a few feet and turn it 90 degrees.

    - Let up on the wet room complaints. The OP already said the idea was dropped.

    - Walking through the closet isn't a great idea, but it is space-efficient. If this is really all the space you have, it might be the best compromise. You could turn the whole bathroom 90 degrees, but that would require another door in the bedroom.

    - The exterior door should swing inward. Is it possible to put the exterior door in the bedroom? The bathroom space is pushed to support an exterior door.

    - In this small space, duplicate sinks are not a great idea -- you don't have the space for two people to stand comfortably together at this sink anyway. Go with one sink (centered), which will allow you a good drawer stack for each spouse. Keep it simple with a large wall-to-wall mirror.

    - Note that you'll have a great view of yourself sitting on the toilet. Maybe flip-flop that linen tower to the end by the toilet.

    - Where will you hang your shower towels?

    - Could you have a window over the toilet? Natural light is always preferred.
