what paint color is timeless?

I want to repaint all my interior walls. Something that won’t go out of style. My trim will stay SW Alabaster. Any suggestions on color for walls??

Nothing is timeless! I had some dark colors in the late 1990s through 2000s, light/mid tones neutrals in the 2010s and white (off-white) in the 2020s. I never felt the need to follow the gray trend that lasted for too many years, from 2010 to 2022.

I like to look at the historic palettes for color ideas. Als, I feel like something watmwr will have more longevity now than something cooler or grey

Yep, nothing is timeless. Choose something you like and accept that someday you'll need to repaint anyway.

It depends on the style of house. A very contemporary/modern home will always look good in basic while.

Exactly^^^ if it’s a well coordinated look with all of your hard finishes and upholstered items and rugs then it will look good today and years to come. If you post photos of your home you can get some additional advice.
