Kitchen Wall Removal

last month

Looking to remove a partition wall in between my living room and kitchen. It is a ranch home, wall runs parallel to the floor joists and trusses. The wall sits in between the last 8ft ceiling truss of the kitchen and the first vaulted ceiling truss. When I opened it up there two 2x8 nailed together with a spacer acting as a "beam" along with the partition wall studs to hold up the header that supports the beginning of the vaulted ceiling drywall (which is stick framed that I showed in one picture. Yellow is where the header runs, red is the stick framing) What are my options? I'm thinking I can support to the nearest truss with 2x4's (see pictures with yellow 2x4 drawn in). Or Put up a LVL beam but seems overkill to support what is basically blocking and drywall. The opening would be about 20'
