While the Korean companies make poor everything else, their washing systems are pretty good. But, any stackable frontloader will work well enough, including Whirlpool/Maytag/Admiral/Kitchenaid?etc , who make about 60% of the US market in washing machines. You want one with an onboard heater and a Sanitize cycle, so you can actually do hot water washes once a week with some bleach, and your laundry room needs to support leaving the doors open for the interiors to dry out between use. Those 2 things will mean you will have virually no issues with any mold developing in the machines. But you can do a once a month clean cycle, to have belt and suspenders on the issues.

KitchenAid laundry products were discontinued after Whirlpool bought Maytag in 2006 so as to position Maytag laundry as their premium brand.
