mirror type advice

There are some many choices of mirrors available. I am looking to add one to front entry. I am leaning toward arched but also not sure. Any suggestions?

Can you show what mirrors your thinking of?

I think a round one would look good, but the size you need may interfere with the long stems on your floral arrangement there. Maybe a lower wider arrangement would work with a round mirror best.

For starters, IMO that is not the best style table for a home that seems to have traditional details. It's too short and it looks like a retro table from the 70s.

Thanks! I am thinking this type of mirrors. Also, Beverly, what type of table do you suggest. We just moved in therefore, we are still decorating:)

Have to agree with BeverlyFLA re the style & height. Difficult to recrecommend one without seeing what rest of your furniture/decor is like. Depends upon your budget, tons online from higher to lower end. In any event, I like round, the arched reminds me of bathroom vanity mirrors, idk why?

Waht will the mirror reflect ? IMO Mirrors are best used where they reflect something worth seeing twice I would much prefer a great piec of art The console cries out for stuff on the shelves which just adds that for no reason I like a console with a couple of small seats to use for putting on shoes

Same old comment about mirrors, lol. Well, , if the mirror reflects really goodlooking people it’s worth seeing twice. Some of us like to check our look as we go out the door. Also, I think mirrors can bring light into a space as well as being decorative in some situations.

BTW…. One of my friends is a catalog model for a higher end workout apparel company….

Nothing is selected in a vacuum. What style do you have going in the adjacent room?

We are going to have an office, ( right now it’s a dining room) thinking French door with frosted type of glass for privacy. Thank you for your ideas ! Much appreciated.

I agree with the others that your current console isn’t doing anything special for the space. You need this “vignette” to work with the rest of your house. Here are different examples of co soles with mirrors and you can guess what the house probably looks like.

K I have no idea what your friend's job is has to do with the subject. I think Beverly was wanting some pics of maybe the living room so we see our style OP

FWIW - ours. Table is narrow providing a place to set a purse or small package and hold a seasonal decoration.

In my opinion, I think a circle mirror with a small bezel would look great. Then ypu can place a few plants on the desk.

@Patricia… perhaps if you re-read your comment you’ll get your answer.
