Maddielee passed away and our GW Community Chest sent a card to her family,

I did contact the folks on the GW Community Chest. The card was signed from "her friends on Gardenweb." I think the family is aware of us from the gifts and flowers we sent after her surgery.

I, too, missed Maddielee’s passing and am very sorry to hear of it.

OMG - I ADORED Maddielee!!! We shared the same sense of humor and she routinely cracked me up. I had no idea she passed away. What a hard road she had, which she endured with an amazing amount of grace. May she rest in peace.

And hopefully Oakley returns soon. I always enjoy her stories. Maybe she's just busy with her family...?

I haven’t been on this site too long but read Maddielee’s account of her diagnosis and subsequent posts. I’m sorry to say I've mixed her up with another ”Maddie” poster and thought Maddielee had taken a turn for the better, which didn’t really make sense. I’m very sorry for her family and friends.
