You have almost nothing in these rooms and you think the solution is to paint the walls? Wrong. You have a very sophisticated space and that just needs to be finished.

I'm assuming that the seating is perhaps from a former home. They are not the right size for this space. You need a sofa for starters. Is there a TV in this room?

The space needs an area rug to define the living room portion.

Large art canvases will add any color the room requires.

The dining table which is perfect should be turned in the other direction. It extends out into the living room too far. If there's room you could add a sideboard in that space for storage.

Thank you for the feedback. We will be replacing the living room furniture.
These photos are from when we first moved in so we do actually have the table the other way now and have some artwork (although the styles don’t match so I didn’t want to post a picture lol).
I used the old pictures just to show the space to get help with paint colours.
After a few years here, I’m looking for a change from the white walls 😊

I totally agree that the space is sophisticated - this is the first room you see when you walk in the house and would love to finish it off nicer to have more of a wow factor.
