I need a 36" induction cooktop with knobs that is reliable. Help, pls

I am remodeling a kitchen with no gasline. I have a Wolf induction now and I do not like the glass touch controls. I need knobs. So far I have found Aga (Elise, Mercury, etc), Blue Star, Viking and ILVE. If anyone has comments about any of these (love it, lemon, not great, etc), I would love to know reliability. I like the rangtop look of the Agas, so that would be my first choice if it is well made. Thanks!

Sorry - no help here - all of mine have/have had touch controls. I rather like not having to clean around knobs. Can't imagine ever going back to gas.

I always wonder about companies that awlays did great gas ranges get into electric on any level and do it well. I just bought a new house and cannot wait to get the induction range out a new gas one in. Just trying to find agas fitter in my new city . Sorry can't help but I do understand the glass touch controls , no matter how careful I am my fingers leave stuff behind.

Me, either. Ease of induction clean-up alone is worth the price of admission.

I considered the BlueStar induction with the knobs, but because at the time I was shopping for a range it was a fairly recent introduction none of the local dealers had a display model. I wasn't about to drop all that $$$ on something I could see and touch first. No way. Maybe the dealers now have them, though.

The highest-wattage element of the BlueStar BSP36INDCKT ($4400) is 2,600 watts while the highest wattage element of the Frigidaire PCCI3080AF (on sale at ajmadison for $1900) is 3,600 watts thought the BS has a higher boost mode.

I think Wolf has the worst touch controls! My mil has a Wolf induction in her vacation house and it drives me bonkers. I have a Smeg and she has Bosch in her other house and they are both so much less finicky than the Wolf. Maybe see if you can find others to test before you rule out touch controls as they make cleaning so simple.

Maybe it depends on the specific Wolf appliance. I have a Wolf Professional induction range. I'm usually anti-touch-control, but I think the touch controls on the Wolf are great. They are very responsive, and they lock for cleaning.
