What are you looking for - privacy? Light block? both? There’s kind of a lot going on in this space so I’d opt for a minimal window treatment. If it’s just privacy, I’d look at window film only. If this is your home - not a rental - & you’ll be here awhile, I’d think about having a textured glass insert made to fit inside the window - as an inside mount. Something like ribbed glass - very simple. A new light fixture - is that what you’re asking? The one you have isn’t bad but it’s not very bright. A rectangular shaped light might light up the area at both ends better. I’d stick with a simple shape. Any chance the bench needs a new upholstery on its seat? It looks nice but it has a pattern, the walls have a pattern, so does the rug & the coat storage doors. A nice solid color, the same tone as storage doors might be nice.

I installed a Bermuda shutter panel over my French door which looks out over my front porch.

I can have complete privacy if I want- or adjust light/privacy levels in a myriad of ways.

It is also a very clean look, you could match the finish on the door or pick an entirely different color.

You can install up/down cellular shades.

Another option is shirred cafe' curtain on two rods. You sometimes see this used on Franch Door glass.

IMO all you selections for this room, the wardrobe, lighting and wallpaper are oppressive visually. It's functional, but not attractive. It's not welcoming. Isn't there a closet for coats and shoes?
