Since your house is all shades of gray and white, you need a bright cheerful color to call attention to the front entry. Pick one of your favorite colors, in a bright shade and use that for the front door. If it were my house, I would most likely use Turquoise, but, I have no idea what colors you like.

I am not usually a gray fan but I like yours! Nice.

I agree that you need a contrasting, maybe even bold, color. Whatever color you pick, get a new larger rug with that color in it. Maybe it’s just me, but I’d move those plants elsewhere. They’re just taking up too much room.

What about the trim around the door? Will it change too?

I dont think white gives the door a good look. I also like the black shutters and the black door.

If you decide to add shutters, make sure that they are sized correctly for your windows. Also, they should be installed so that they look functional even if they are non-functional.
