Need Help for Designing Bath Alcove

I plan to replace my vanity (48 inches wide) and redecorate this alcove outside my bedroom. See photos of my current original vanity. My master bath is on the left and master closet on the right. I would prefer a vanity with drawers and a height of 35-36 inches. I welcome any advice.

Maybe explain what it is that you want to accomplish

By alcove do you mean just the space in front of the vanity?

I would consider creating a door and making the bathroom larger but again what is it you want to accomplish how big of a budget? What is the problem you're trying to solve?

jo mu, thank you for commenting. I want to replace the vanity, it is old and too low. Perhaps a new mirror and lighting. But the space will remain the same.
