Let's look at White Dove and Heron Plume together. This combo doesn't do much for me. There isn't much contrast. Sometimes colors without contrast can still sing together with an ever so slight difference that makes them a perfect match. These do not do that for me. I think the heron pllume just makes the white dove look dirty.

I sometimes appreciate looking at the color combos that companies pre-select. Here are two greys that Benjamin Moore matches to White Dove.

Now compare these Ben Moore suggestions to Heron Plume. They are darker and feel like they have more body, more there there if you know what I mean.

None of this means that you will actually love them in your space, with your lighting and flooring. But at least on the screen, I like them with White Dove better than your heron plume.

Heron Plume has a taupe undertone (pink/violet gray) and is too light to work with White Dove.

To test colors take samples of both colors outside on a clear day around 2:00 in the afternoon to get the best lighting to compare how the colors work together. Take a sample of your flooring outside with you and make sure both colors work with your flooring as well as each other.

My test is always - would I wear the two colors together. If the answer is no, then they don't go together well enough for my house to wear them together.
