Hosta A 2025 ...... . . . ....

Welcome back. Yes, it is the day after and I am ready to be back. The weather report is terrible, so it is a good day to be here and stay warm. OK so it is 57 degrees here and I have no idea what I am talking about but in a couple of days I will.

I am #5

Go ahead. You can never stop.

I need this shirt.

As always, the rules are to have fun. Post your own, post from other years, steal other's photos (like I do jokes) (just state stolen) it is a wide-open year.

Let's play:

All hostas starting today beginning with A:

Fun to see Bonnie Hunter's name pop up in here. She's an inspiring quilter.

I got photos of only half or so of my hostas this year. Here's Age of Gold:

Off to a good start, everyone!

My garden was neglected so my apologies for the untidy photos, but the hostas outshine their surroundings, so that’s all right. 😊

A difficult year in my garden, like many of you also had. Here is Andrew, year 3 in this spot:

Ahhhh, it's nice to see the alphabet starting up again... not many 'A's and only have pictures of one, 'Abiqua Drinking Gourd' and it's not even this year's. The plant is kinda tucked in out of the way and somehow never made it into the camera's viewfinder....

Well, waddya know, how come I forgot 'August Moon'...

Aureo-Marginata I got this one a few about 3 years back in a 4-inch pot.

Outstanding As everyone. Every year I tell myself I need an August Frost

I love seeing everyone's hosta again! Company has left so now it is time for the alphabet. Last year I had a good spring but summer brought a drought, the deer ate most of the blooms. Oh well maybe next year.

ig yes a hard year for many including me, mostly in the sun gardens. 3rd drought year with extreme heat yet this year spring was chilly. Such lovely markings on Andrew!

Very nice Pieter! Considering how knowledgeable and good you are at photography I am surprised you aren't out snapping more.

Paula that is a happy plant!

Beth such a great collection of beauties!

Alley Op. Has a good story too. I bought one shortly before the move from Marlene at Uniquely and then lost it when nothing came next year in the pot. But I must have reused the medium because something weird looking started growing. Couple years later and lo and behold Alley Op is back. Weird how some will die in perfect conditions and some will regenerate from a sliver.

What a terrific & interesting list. Amazing that you put this together! The clear winner with the group Is Autumn Frost and for good reason.

Paula I love the list. I can see why Autumn Frost is a winner. I love how it looks good all season long.
