Where will the towel bars be mounted?

I thought worse case scenario on the back of the door. I didn't want to put any holes in the walls until I had a big plan. :)

I pulled these off of art.com. They seem like they could be bathroomy to me. Of course, you will want them protected behind glass and definitely white frames.

About the towel bars - I think hooks are more interesting and functional since you can hang more towels in less space. Just make sure they're substantial enough to hold a towel. Some towels actually have a loop on them so they an go on a hook. You have a very serene, pretty bathroom there - great job!

I like karemore's art suggestions but I'd prefer a canvas art.

I was thinking canvas art too. Do you think 3 small pictures?

Bright, for sure. I supposed I could put 2 hooks and a picture. I would rather hide my towels though and keep everything with clean lines. What size pictures?

I should mention that the art I posted is available on canvas or paper. Would you be OK with the humidity in the bathroom possibly affecting the art?

I'm starting to think you should just go with a towel bar, maybe a double one (make sure it is a good quality one or the back towel will be hard to thread onto it), and hang it centred between the edge of the tub tile and the edge of the bathroom door when its open. Hang it as low as you can get away with - I'm thinking about chest height (I'm average height), then centre the art above it. If the towels are white and the towel bar is attractive, and fingers crossed the towels are always hung nearly, I think your art will have minimal distraction.

There is so much beautiful art out there, but of the ones I posted, the large green flower just seems to belong there - huge impact, and picks up on the greens in the tile border. Whatever you decide to do, could you please post an "after" pic? Would love to see the finished room!

A spa feel and look for this bathroom

Pretty towels can and color and texture. Looks like similar color in my bathroom. What is the size of that wall? I keep my wall art in black and white with punches of color in towels and flowers.
