I knew I took less pics this year but apparently I did not get a pic of Christmas Tree. This is it a couple of years ago.

Been having issues with the site uploading anything, not just pictures but even just plain text using Firefox. Tried Edge yesterday with some success, trying Firefox again today.
This here's 'Camelot' peeking out from under 'Queen of the Seas' and 'Dawn's Early Light'....

Don't seem to have any pictures of just 'Captain Kirk', only of one division that's sporting and that sport was removed to grow-on by itself, time will tell what'll become of it.

'Chinese Sunrise' has been in the garden since at least '09 and very quickly rose to the top of favourites in the spring. Here it is on March 31st beginning to unfurl and it rapidly becomes that early bright beacon in the yard, just love it!

By April 29th it is in full glory!

While not quite as early to break 'Cracker Crumbs' sure make a nice showing here on April 17th.

Invariably the earliest hosta to break for me is clausa var. normalis, like here on March 14th...

Clausa of course has a deserved reputation for being a borderline thug, it spreads rapidly and in my case because my variety sets seed, I have to contend with runners as well as volunteers..

In spite of all that it keeps a firm spot in the garden not only because it's such an early riser but I do love its flowers...

Pieter I will be keeping my clausa var. normalis in a pot always. I love the flowers too! claua var. clausa is more than enough to contend with in the garden.
