Sorry, decorate what? Is this the dining area? Is that a frame TV or a mirror?

It’s the Dining room. I don’t know what to put on the buffet table and the grey frame on right is a mirror and straight straight

I would change the mirror to art. Then leave the top of the buffet clear. The mirror is just reflecting a plain wall. Is the table usually centered so that you can use the chairs that are against the wall?

That’s a great idea!! Do you think art work on both walls? And the table is usually like this as we never use those chairs. I’m thinking o

Do you normally have that much stuff on your tables and the floor? I’d clean everything first and find a home or make a system so that you have a place to put your bags when you get home, I’d remove that full length mirror. Looks like it belongs in a bedroom. Mirror over the console is ok if you can find a nice piece of art for the wall by the table. A smaller round table may be a good idea since the current one is swished against the wall.

No I don’t normally have all this stuff on the table. I have 2 kids under 2 and are in the process of taking down Christmas and hop big to get help with. New decor

+1 to large art over the buffet.

How wide is the dining area? It doesn’t seem like you have sufficient width for a round table with chairs, the buffet and a traffic path.

Consider centering the table in the space, adding a light fixture over the table and perhaps a rug.

Your area is very narrow for a dinging room. Your chairs are very bulky. The table isn't your issue. How you have your table pushed in is no doubt due to the hall way the space also is. Round table will never work here. Remove the mirror hung to high that reflects nothing of note. Find some taller vases for the buffet. I'm not a fan of lamps on a buffet--they make no useful sense but possibly here they would??? 3D installation on the wall? Plates? Put a nice art piece on the empty wall opposite or maybe the mirror hung so it will reflect whatever wall installation you find for the other wall so you don't have competing installations. Its curious you have a chair rail on one side of the space but no chairs on that side.....
