I am painting a guest bedroom in F&B Pale Powder, have the paint but haven't started yet.

Chispa, read the room. It the poster is looking at BEHR paint, there's no way Farrow & Ball is in the budget.

Actually I don't have a brand preference or a limited budget, I just happened to like the Behr color. The patriotic white looks like it could be a good option. Thanks! 

And yes it is a mint color, but looks aqua in my house that gets pretty much no direct sunlight ever. I want a little more blue because I want it too look aqua even when the light hits it.

Bev, see you were making assumptions about the OP and called me out unnecessarily!

I try not to assume peoples budgets and instead assume they don't know that much about what paint brands are out there!

However, if someone comes to me asking for a good hamburger, my initial reaction will not be to suggest chateaubriand even though they are both beef.

I would tell them if they want an amazing hamburger experience they should try a Wagyu burger, at least once!

I don’t think it’s inappropriate to make a suggestion for a different, more expensive brand. The poster can take that color to any paint store and have it matched. The different shades from each paint company isn’t the entire rainbow spectrum, so seeing the color you are envisioning is helpful.

I had good luck with crystal blue Ben Moore 2051-70 Love opal essence 680 by ben Moore but it is a little more greenish also glass slipper is a good blue 1632

When I look up many of the paint suggestions the LRVs are different than what is mentioned. My current color is an 84 and it is too dark for what I'm looking for. I have a north east facing room with quite a few angled ceilings and corners that make the room look quite dark and the color deepens in all the corners. I like the blue and green values in Patriotic White, but 81 LRV gets me even darker. Thanks for all your help!

If it helps, this is what I'm going for... my daughter's room is a white called crystal cut. It has a high LRV around 90 and it just looks like an off white on a paint chip, but when you walk in her room it looks like a pink room. I'm looking for the same effect, but with a blue-green.

And of course it washed the photo out so it doesn't really look pink in the photo!🤣

Interesting! Sorry I missed the part of you wanting a lighter LVR! I dont know of any, did a quick google search and came up empty lol 😆 . We did however just paint our entire rental cotton balls white which is a lovely color but it definitely never reads pale blue. My old living room was Covington Gray which looked blue to me half the time however it is much darker than you are going for. Happy Paint hunting ! I hope you find the perfect color
