I would definitely do a little red. I like that color on walls and in a dining room it could make it all come together. My living room is red and I left my dining room cream and it defiantly clashes. Maybe find a red that matches and decorate with the light blue?

How about a beautiful neutral and then paint the ceiling the same light blue as in the kitchen? Enlarge this pix to see what I mean.

Then bring all three color in with a rug. The hang simple, in the same tone as the walls, linen panels at the windows.

I would do a neutral so you don't have a "Rainbow house".

more pic's would help but since you said you have red, & blue already i would go natural. I have a red accent wall and natural connection and it works. curtains have to go and maybe toupe ( darker) for curtains hanging on hooks......

A rich dark bitter sweet chocolate brown on walls and ceiling. Would be a cozy wonderful counterpoint to the red living room and pale blue kitchen. I would do cream colored drapes that start at the ceiling to add a light touch to break up the brown. Pipe the drapes on the lead edge with a narrow solid red fabric. Then add a set of prints with wide cream colored mattes and silver frames to brighten the space.

In my opinion you can't go wrong with SW Kilim beige, it goes with everything;)

This colour would go with both your kitchen and living room. Also, because your living room is in red - may I suggest that perhaps you also use a little red in this room too, but in accessories? This will bring the two together. You could perhaps do this by using something like a table lamp or a standard lamp with a silver/chrome base and a red shade? And..... would you fancy using some red curtains in this room too - as this would also help give the room a warm and cohesive look .

Also, if you do go for grey on your walls, you could also get some artwork in a darker blue (to bring your kitchen colour in and some red with also a bit of white in) - you could perhaps purchase 3 or 5 different size artists canvasses and cover them with some remnant of fabrics with blues/reds/white in and just cover the canvasses with enough fabric to go around the back and just staple the fabric to the canvas. You could perhaps arrange these in a group on one of your grey walls to add some extra style and cohesion to your scheme.

ok Yes then I agree make the dining room a biege color and have a nice red rug to warm up the space. What @1play10s has posted, looks nice. I would just switch out the chandelier with a bigger one. Good luck :)

SW kilm beige looks similar to BM Shaker Beige, which blends well with blues and reds and black accents.
