I do think it would look better if it was power and slightly longer.

If you get the longer side table it will shift the tv to right side closer to the curtains. I am assuming you will center the tv over the side table. If the tv shifts to the right, then will it still be in a good place for tv viewing?

Could you take a picture of the other side of the room? I feel like the art next to the curtains and plant are in the wrong place. Are the curtains covering a sliding door or a large window?

I wouldn't keep the frame. The guys on the Waveform tech podcast in their CES 2026 comments on these products have noted poor quality for tv performance.

We can't see the WHOLE room, minus the playmat on the floor, a few piles : )?

Is the console too small? Yes it could be longer. But lets see the WHOLE of the room? All angles?

BTW... The frame TV concept has been around a while. You can put "art" on ANY smart tv for a lot less $$$$ and an app on your phone. You tube. : ) even revolving,

I don’t think the dark walnut complements the lighter furniture finishes at all. Are you replacing other furniture? If not, consider a lighter finish console that is lower and longer. The current one is a beautiful piece, gives me the vibe of dining room buffet. (No other decor on console once you select one.)

IMO the cabinets needs to be longer and with no decor on it .BTW either cm or inches pick one .

The pictures on the wall are all leaving — the accent chair used to be under it, hence the lower placement of it.

The chair and tree are there to just add to the space, fill it in so to speak.

The frame tv is staying — it’s not a return that can be made any longer. The frame tv will be placed in the centre of the sideboard, and the sideboard will be at the centre of the sofa.

The doors are sliding doors out to the back. The current placement of the sideboard is pretty much centre of the sofa.
The kitchen is dark walnut (see photo) hence why I wanted to bring that into the living space as the kitchen can be seen from living area! Before everything was light, and it was giving too much Scandi vibes which I don’t want.

I’ve chosen to buy a sideboard instead of an actual tv console for two reasons: for increased storage space & my toddler can’t climb or reach the decorative pieces etc!

I’ve put a measuring tape on the floor to show what 180cm would look like compared to the current 160cm

Look at DecoTVFrames for aftermarket frames for the Frame TV. I have this black/gold one on mine, which complements other art frames in my family room.

General rule of thumb is that the TV ishould be approximately 3/4 the width of the sideboard.

My 55” is mounted over a 6’ credenza (almost 183 cm ).… looks right to me.

Are you sure the tape measure is showing correctly? Isn't that just a difference of ~8"? The tape in the picture looks longer than that but could just be the picture.
