Cannot make out any dimensions.

If you are going to have cabinets and appliances on the left and right wall you will not fit an island that you can sit at. The pantry in the corner and the sink in the corner are not very efficient, don't look too good and are old fashioned. I would find a professional kitchen designer to work.

If you feel you must have an island in this space, I'd take out the "L" and go with a straight cabinet run against the wall ... then you can have a 5' island with walking space on each side ... OR you can have an 8' island that touches the wall on the left side.

Alternately, you could have a G-shaped kitchen with a peninsula instead of an island.

I agree with the above poster that most corner sinks aren't 'zactly ideal. I'd move the sink (and thus, the dishwasher) to the island or peninsula.

I have no idea I cannot read even one dimension except the 11' one which tells me no island with proper walkway width and BTW never a corner pantry or corner sink. Post the plan with noting in it , do it to scale on graph paper to make it easy Show every window and doorways and where those doorways lead. Every measurement clearly marked Post that here in jpeg format in a comment . IMO you do not design a kitchen until the appliances are all bought and ideally sitting in the garage waiting .Islands come if there is room not the driving force behind the design . Where is the DR ?

Sorry about that folks. The quality was terrible. I updated the original post and also included it here. I also added more rooms for context and removed the old cabintery/plumbing from the kitchen, as well as the pantry. We'd like to still have a pantry, though.

Hopefully, that will give a better canvas for people's mind. I left the fridge, as it's the only appliance we'll be keeping. Appreciate your advice!
