My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

wood type, cut, and finish

beautiful kitchen! Are the cabinets white oak and what is the cut (eg, plain, quarter select, rift, etc) and finish? They're so nice!

    Thank you! I don't see the medullary rays that seem to be the main feature for QS white oak -- is that just because the picture's far enough back they're not visible or for some other reason? We're doing custom cabinets with our local shop -- what would we tell them if we wanted that same exact look? Thanks again.

    The picture is further back as you mention.

    Our advice is to go to the wood veneer shop. You have to select the veneers that fit the look you are after...Good luck
