You pros may all be tired of addressing this problem! How can I remove old peel-and-tile? I'm finally getting around to this room with its peeling, un-sticking, and chipped vinyl tile.
Seems to be laid over a sheet vinyl product which actually looks way better than the pale green and pink fake tiles with little green and red flowers in the middle!
Here's the totally gross part of this scenario: I was able to get a couple of tiles up and found a sheen of liquid underneath.
I'd like to think it's water, but I suspect I've been living over a year in a house with a thin layer of dog urine under some of the tiles.
So I'm in there with an old scraper, dressed in as close to a Haz-Mat suit as I can get.......and it's not working well.
Help!!!
