Shades for Windows

I’m not sure if this combo will work for my kitchen and living room. I want to keep them separate but I also cohesive. The kitchen will have natural shades and the living room soft fold Roman shades. I want personality and pizazz but not so much to where I will inevitably hate it. Thank you!

Looking at the pics on your other post the living room look like it has some separation from the dining/kitchen area so doing a different window treatment would be ok IMO. You obviously like blue, have you held your swatch up to your couch? if they complement each other i would go for it:)
