What is the length of the wall and what area of your home is this space in? Budget? What is the style in the rest of your home? This looks to be a fairly contemporary space.

Will this new space be used more than what you have there now ? I entertain a lot but have never found a specified bar area to work My guests mix drinks at the island in the kitchen almost all the time I also set out appies in a couple of different spots trying to discourage this bar but never works. I have how ever found a spot like yours with 2 comfy chairs and an end table a wonderful addition for a friend and a glass of wine while I cook. All I m saying is think about how often you have wished you had this .

I know coffee stations are popular right now but a coffee pot all the way across the kitchen from the sink/water makes me crazy in the airbnbs I stay in 😅 (I am not including the built in makers that have water access in my mini rant)
