I’m only chiming in on the accent wall idea…the room itself is already telling you to look at that wall; with the ceiling height, the direction of the vault, the windows that are different than the other windows, the fireplace. The wall itself doesn’t need to look different than the other walls, it already is. A big stunning painting over the mantle is all it needs.

Post pictures of the other 2 wall: tv wall and behind the sectional. Paint is hosen last. Match the flooring to the rooms this room abuts. Is the sectional staying? The end tables & lamps under the windows are pointless. Get end tables the height of the arms of the sectional so they can actually be used by anyone sitting. Agree about no accent wall. Need more pictures for other suggestions

This was the house before I bought it, so all that furniture is gone. I want to put the tv above the fireplace as this will be the man hang out for my family. The other abutting room have different floors one is dark wood and the other is light wood

This is the other side, remembering all the furniture is out , but the room with the arrow is now a dark wood. The problem is the other abutting room not pictured is light wood

Looks like the room you show with the arrow has a step up so what is the flooring that is on the level of room being discussed? I still think the FP is too high for TV. Which wall is the entertainment center on in your original picture?
