Do you want curtains in addition to blinds or instead of them?

I would like both,

Consider replacing your blinds with day-night blackout roller blinds. These will allow you to control the amount of light.

To avoid gaps on the sides, you can choose a system with guides on the window frames.

Replace with blackout roller shades for sure. We have ours inside mounted ajd then blackout curtains on top but there are ways to make just the shades work.

and inside mount black out shades on the windows.

With roller shades and ceiling track.

I use a sleep mask in addition to blackout curtains.
