Also my hallway definitely doesn’t have enough room for back band so I thought of doing the bedroom hallway doors like this. Does this style match with what I’m doing in the living room and kitchen?

I would do 1x3 around the two doors (kitchen back door and closet) so the trim aligns with the space. Otherwise, the header board will be off an inch on the short side which would drive me bonkers.

Ok so 1x3 sides and 1x4 header with the back band ? Or 1x3 all around?

I think 3" thick would look better than the 4" one with the thin back band. I would do it all the way around the doors.
