@Valinta no, sun and light is not an issue. The curtains will always be open. I had considered Roman shades but would prefer to stick with panels if it’s possible on this window bench. They are not 100% out of the question but for now I’m trying to see what other options I have. The panels I’m looking at are light filtering linen blend.

Your only choice is to cut the panels to accommodate the window seat on the one wall if you insist on panels on all the windows.

@BeverlyFLADeziner would it look terrible if I did nothing here and panels elsewhere on the normal windows? I know I’d have to have the correct length of if I did them on the window bench. We have Roman shades in another room and while it is something I can consider, I’d love to have something else if it would work.
