We used porcelain tile, but our base is concrete. We live in NE Ohio, so subject to rain and freezing weather.

I would stay away from LVP. I don't think it will hold up to outdoor weather. I live in SW Florida and lots of folks down here use ceramic or porcelain tiles on their open lanais. You're going to have to make sure that your foundation will hold up to the weight of ceramic tile though. Is your decking on 4x4 posts?

We are using a grid support system on a raised porch which will then have tile pavers laid in it.
We are going to use it in SC and found the connection to the product at SavannahStoneSource in Bluffton, SC.
It is quite involved, and is adding an extra $30 sq’ to the porch cost over just using boards.

My sister has slate/bluestone. It looks great, has held up for years.
