Where do you like to put guest bath towels?

If you’re hosting guests, where do you like to place the bath towels for their visit? Do you place them in their bedroom or in the bath? if in the bath, where? do folks like train racks? sorry if this is a pretty basic question - just looking for ideas :)

If they have a seperate bathroom for just them then in the bathroom . I love train racks even in my own bathroom . I hang bathrobes in the bathroom on the back of the door . I try to think how I like these items to be for myself. If a shared bath then in their room

It really depends on the occasion for the guests. How many are staying. I find a stack of the necessary towels on the edge of the bed expecially when you are hosting many people at once takes all the guess work out of whose towel is whose and relieves the stress of did I tell everyone all the prefuctuary things one needs over night guests to know. I have an over the door type mulit towel hook rack that comes in handy for these occasions, for used drying towels. If every guest has their own bathroom it really isn't a debate they know what's in their bathroom is theirs to use.

Super helpful - thank you! fwiw the guest bedrooms are not overly large so was thinking if i leave them on the beds guests may not have an obvious place to put them when unpacking

in the bathrooms makes total sense - baths won’t be shared and there are large vanities but didn’t think guests would look in drawers for towels, so that is why i was wondering about train racks, visible but out of the way

totally relating to what you said @arcy_gw - did I tell everyone everything so they have/can find what they need?

We do home exchanges and have tons of extra linens as a result. We leave guest towels on the end of each person’s bed with a fresh bar of soap.

I place the towels in a nicely folded stack on the dresser. I don't want my guests to have to figure out where they are and my bathroom is too small to place them nicely in there.

If each room has its own bathroom, towels go in the bathroom. we run an inn. we put three sets of towels in each bathroom assuming two people to a room. If guests are sharing a bathroom, put the towels on the end of the bed or on the dresser.

bpath, great idea about using a blanket rack. I have one guest bath shared by two guest bedrooms, but the bedrooms are large so a rack would fit and eliminate too many large towels in the bathroom at once. Off to look for some type of rack ... preferably a folding one!

Towels are left at bottom of guest bed. Different colours for different folks. I leave a drying rack either in the guest room or hallway outside of bathroom to hang used towels.

Because my two guest rooms share a bathroom, I keep guest towels in the bedrooms displayed in baskets. In one room that has coastal vibe, I have used a woven beach tote. In the other room, which has more masculine feel, I use a woven cube basket.

If they have their own bathroom, then towels in there. If the bathroom is shared, towels in their bedroom.

I leave them folded in a nice stack on the bed in the bedroom they are using and then let them know there are extra towels in the linen closet in the bath they are using.
