I’m not sure the brand is the issue so much as the material. If it’s quartz you will need an adequate set-back for the range and/or a heat shield. Or just use tile. The ”one material on the counters and backsplash” look can be a little boring.

Thanks! I think the one material is absolutely a personal preference or not. I like that look but I don’t want to end up with scorched backsplash.

Then get the backguard or use stainless behind just the stove. It will scorch. It will melt with the stove right against the quartz.

That is why on this site OPs are told no quartz behind ranges just to safe and a pro range belts out a lot of heat . It matters not which quartz they are all part plastic

ALL brands of quartz have plastic resin as the binder. ALL brands of quartz will scorch when exposed to heat. ALL BRANDS. Most range brands actually require a 6"-12" rear clearance when using the island trim. They require the use of the sold separately back guard when against a wall. You would be violating both the range manufacturer requirements and the quartz manufacturer requirements to do it as a backsplash, with the island trim used.

ANY quartz will scorch. It has nothing to do with brand. It should not be used as a backsplash if you actually use your kitchen. If you have show kitchen, that isn't cooked in, then it wouldn’t scorch, but you still shouldn’t do it!
