You're right it's not the best picture. contact acouple local roofers that can see it in rel life and advise you.

Its possible the roofer left a few nails, and they have been hidden up there, until you got the 2 storms, and they managed to move around. Its unlikely, they worked their way loose on your roof. I would however, remove them, so they dont fall down and lay around in your yard.

Where there's one, there will be others (loose nails, not UFOs) so it would be prudent to have someone inspect roof to determine if there are other nails "partly" worked out. That will tell you if those are mavericks let laying on roof or if they worked themselves out. If indeed worked themselves out, a new roof should be installed by original contractor which will likely require threat of lawsuit.

I would say this is just normal debris from the original shingle installation.

The nails look consistently positioned within the shingle rows, not random.These are almost certainly nails that were installed but didn’t hold properly. Contact the roofing contractor. This should be covered under workmanship warranty.

Have the nails fallen off the roof yet?

They weren't pushed out of the shingles. I suppose it's possible for spilled nails to lie on a roof undisturbed for a winter. It's a reasonable call back request.
