Need help improving my apartment layout (2 bedrooms + walk-in closet)

Hello everyone!

I’m struggling with the layout of my apartment and would really appreciate some ideas.

My goals for the space:

Have two separate bedrooms
A kitchen-living room (open space)
Instead of wardrobes in rooms, I would like to have a small walk-in closet / dressing room
Keep the layout as spacious and functional as possible

On the right side of the plan there is a bathroom, but next to it there is also some unclear space that I don’t really understand how to use. I’m not sure what would be the best function for that area.

Any suggestions or alternative layouts would be greatly appreciated.

Here in the US, you probably would not be able to do the reconfguring you're suggesting. That is where I would start - see what you are allowed to do to the space. Honestly I can't see a walkin closet with a dressing area fitting at all. You may be able to squeeze a powder room, but not sure about a whole other full bath.

Not sure what the rules are where you live but here you would have to involve an architect in a project like this.

This is the lazy United States Of America.

Every wall needs a dimension in feet and inches, ever window, same thing, Every opening as it currently exists,. We do not care about square feet. The s.f are meaningless as layouts are considerate of movement and traffic through a space. Considerate of clearances and even local codes for things such as toilets.

Your drawing needs a redo, The current rooms need labels. How many will live there, what is the location?

Same orientation, .........is also helpful.

My suggestion would be to switch the living room/kitchen and the middle bedroom so you are entering into the apartment and into the public rooms. If you can take over the utility room at the top or at least some of it you can create a walk in closet. If you can move the wall to make the living area bigger that would also be great. Of course you can to check if there could be plumbing routed to the middle of the room instead for the kitchen.

If you're unable to move of take down walls, here are my suggestions. I've modified the kitchen layout and the dining table to a 28" x 48" (inches). Added a floating TV console and small coffee table. I've separated the bedroom closets and show an organized closet for each bedroom. Also suggest pocket doors for the 2 closets and have the doors to the bedroom opening to the inside instead of outside the bedrooms

If you can move of take down walls, let us know to make other suggestions.
