Easy way to move recently added project to the top

We have a lot of projects in HOUZZ and when I add a new one, it gets added to the bottom of the screen. It's a pain to drag it all the way to the top so it is the first project seen. Is there an easier way to move projects?

Yeah, this is a common annoyance in Houzz project organization.

As far as I know, Houzz doesn’t currently offer a “sort by newest first” or auto-pin option for projects, so dragging is the default way to reorder them.

A couple of workarounds people use:
- Rename projects with a prefix like 01, 02, 03 to control order
- Or use consistent date-based naming (e.g. 2026 Kitchen Remodel)
- Sometimes logging out/in or refreshing the dashboard helps if ordering looks stuck, but it won’t change the underlying sort behavior
It would definitely be nicer if Houzz added a quick “move to top” or default reverse-chronological sorting option, especially for users managing lots of active projects.
