Bathroom remodel

Hi friends,project is a bathroom redo in old.really historic home. But is son's and is not decorated of the period but traditional leaning toward little modern. But thought would be nice to do bath a little old style,white floor tile with a black diamond center,vanity will be medium gray,white tub and tile above,and beadboard painted and same paint above on walls. Bath is fairly separated from other rooms,wondering what color to paint walls and beadboard. There is a large window in middle of room,so fair amount of light. Can't decide to go with a pale pale bluish green,or keep neutral with a warm beige color.don't want gray. His walls downstairs are SW croissant and sundew and floors are wood with warm tones.I know bath sounds like cooler colors and guess so but...any ideas?

I wouldn't put painted beadboard in a home that is leaning a little more modern. Does he want painted beadboard? Have you asked what colors he wants and likes in here?

I find size and layout important in deciding color. Too many color changes in a small space can look really choppy. Do you have any photos to post?

If you are doing a black and white floor with white tile and a white tub, I'd be careful about selecting a warm beige in here.

I'd paint the bead board the same color you choose for the trim(s)

Paint the wall above whatever color you like.

I was concerned about the floor also with a warm beige, guess will stay with cooler colors. Should say house is more traditional inside not modern. Yes he likes idea of beadboard for some reason.

how on earth can anyone answer color questions or style w/o pictures? please post pics of the type of house it is, the current bathroom and relation to the other colors you're asking about.
