Advice on installing Kohler Iron Tones 33" sink

last month

I have purchased a Kohler Iron Tones 33" undermount sink. I have read the past excellent advice by @Joseph Corlett, LLC and others on Houzz about best practices, including a slight positive reveal and adequate support like Pete's. Two questions: 1) Pete's is out of stock - does anyone have a recommendation for a good alternative. I have not read hopeful reviews of Sink Setters, and only scant information about Hercules, e.g., Does anyone have strong and experienced recommendations for alternatives to Pete's? 2) My counter fabricator/sink installer is concerned that the rounded edge in the Iron Tones will make the silicone more prone to failure over time than if we had an undermount sink with a square flat edge. The problem is that I haven't found another low divide white sink (what dear husband has his heart set on) that has the flat, square edge. Also the others seem to all be granite composite that get inferior reviews in terms of stain/appearance upkeep. Can anyone comment on whether the fabricator's concerns are legitimate and if and how such issues can be avoided with the Iron Tones, other than proper support and careful workmanship to get the cut shape and silicone beading clean? Also if anyone has experience with white composite sinks (e.g. Franke, Ruvati, Blanco) that contradicts my conclusion that they are hard to maintain, please set me straight! I lived for decades with cast iron enamel and know from experience that with bar keepers friend and oxy, they can look very good for decades. But have no experience with composites in light colors. Thanks all!!
