Choosing a Timbertech composite deck color

last modified: 4 months ago

I have Sherwin Williams Warm Stone as my house color, and am replacing my current cedar deck with Timbertech composite decking. I am having a hard time deciding which color to choose. I would love pvc, but that is not in the budget. I have samples of (L-R) Driftwood, Ashwood, Tigerwood, Whitewash Cedar and Natural White Oak. None of them look quite right to me. I want to stick with something lighter (although I do love dark brown hues) because of the heat aspect and composite known to getting hot. We have a small dog and are barefoot ourselves a lot. It's an east facing deck, so it doesn't get the evening sun, but I still want to keep it as cool as possible. Timbertech doesn't have any sort of visualizer where I can upload a pic and see how my house will look with the different colored boards, which would definitely help!
