Your pintuck comforter should have matching pillow shams. Buy 4 (2 for spare) and put the sleep pillows behind the shams.

That’s a nice, clean setup already. The bed frame and nightstands give you a good base to build on.

If this is a queen bed, you'll want to go with either two queen pillows or two standard pillows across (2 queen usually looks best). If it’s a king bed, two king pillows usually look best but some people do three regular size pillows. I would keep it simple and do only one or two large-ish decorative pillows.

From what I’ve seen working with customers at my store, Luxury Sleep Shop, people are often surprised how much pillow size and fullness affect the overall look. Slightly fuller, higher loft pillows tend to make the bed feel more finished and inviting rather than flat or soft fill pillows. Also remember to use pillow protectors as well as pillowcases. IMO the proportions for art above the bed and table lamps is much better in this photo than your bedroom.

YES to the green pillows that BeverlyFLA has proposed. I at first thought was going to suggest yellow but the green works out much better and gives some much needed punch to the design.

This is a pretty pillow from Etsy. As Beverly suggested, green is a very complimentary color to lavender.

I agree with removing the candlesticks and having a bit larger lamps. The less clutter on the nightstands, the better. My husband uses a cpap when we travel and it's always a problem to look for places to move things off a nightstand to have a place to set it.

If you have a (ie: HomeSense) near by, maybe shop in person which will allow you to choose items that appeal to you and work well together (just return what doesn‘t). If having trouble deciding, look on line for overall ideas.

I agree two lamps which are taller and with fairly narrow bases will work best. For my guest rooms, I chose ones with integrated USB ports for phone charging.

@Jaime Hall - Since this is for an Airbnb, I have a couple of additional thoughts to add to what I posted last night.

1) I would suggest that you do not leave the candle and candle pillars on the nightstand. If you would like to leave your guests something along those lines, for the ambience, leave just one candle holder that has a flameless candle. You do not want guests potentially starting a fire in the bedroom.

2) I would consider leaving the nightstands pretty much clear- and instead, consider battery operated wall sconces. Such as these - from Amazon - which also have a remote control.

3) I would keep it simple with the decorative pillows. I would focus on purchasing excellent quality white sheets, and also high quality bed pillows. And I would just get one, long, purple lumbar pillow. Such as this velvet (and this is just for the pillow cover, and the cover should be washable).

I tried to create a couple of visuals to show the idea with the sconces, etc. AI is a bit temperamental tonight- and I can’t tweak it at the moment. I did not intend to remove/replace the nightstands nor your existing bedding (which I love the lavender/purple scheme, btw). So- even though some of these alterations are not what I intended or wanted- at least you can get the general idea with the sconces, etc.

I am looking around for similar lumbar/bolster pillows, to the one in my AI visual that you like. My problem is: When I see similar, that catches my eye, the prices seem on the high end for these purposes.

So, just when I was ready to call it a night- I spotted this one. Now, I know that it is not all lavender and/or shades of purple. And I was not looking for grey- at all. But it popped up... and it is a lavender/grey mix. A very long pillow cover- in a cotton that should, I would think, be washable. I think it could give you a high end look... and at a fairly reasonable price.

It's hard to tell without dimensions, but the first two might be too large for your nightstands. I like the third one best, but I think the fourth one could work, too. I like that the fourth choice also includes a power outlet.

The first two seem to be the most aligned with the style you're creating but the last one is good too. Do the lamps you're considering have to be charged or are they electric? The phone plugin is great.

If they are charging a device, I am sure they are electric. The power cords are often photoshopped out of promo pics. I would definitely stay away from rechargeable battery-powered lamps or sconces. Keeping them charged between potentially back-to-back guests would be a challenge.

There are potentially many benefits to using wall sconces for lighting in a bedroom. Style is one of the benefits- but there are also others. One of the reasons that I suggested them, in this case, is to keep the nightstand tops clear- so that guests have room to put their things. Btw, there are also plug-in wall sconces... Such as these- that also feature a remote control. There are many style options available.

These are a good price, have a USB port, and are dimmable, which could be a nice feature for someone who likes a night light in a space they're not used to. They should be a good height without being too big for your space. The shade is 13", which isn't too big. They're also resin versus glass, which is nice in case they get knocked over by mistake.
