I love agreen not so much baby blue but either of those colors will be better IMO than cream. Make sure all the lighting is LED 4000K too it mimics bright daylight . Then a nice white granite for the counter and backsplash.

Before any color or finish is the layout, and we have no idea what the space looks like now , with all the tongue and groove cedar, that will be ALL the walls and the ceiling, and I might give that a second thought as well.

Why "all "the walls, you can paint paneling .......?

Cedar brings to mind anything but blue., just opinion on that..

All kitchens are a marriage of flooring, counter tops, and cabinet color or finish. No matter what, it begins with layout: ), and that is driven by appliances, necessary storage, the space you have to work with.

I would however not do fake wood floor with all that real wood . Maybe a slte look for the floors and also no law says you can't paint cedar walls in maybe some spaces too.

Please post a pic of the space. It will help a lot. I concur - no fake wood flooring in a room with wood paneled ceilings and walls.
