Why are landing treads hard to source

last month

We bought prefinished hardwood hickory and cannot find for the life of us anyone who can sell/ship/manufacture matching landing treads/stair nosing. All the online sites are site unseen and we can't be guaranteed similar grade of wood or finish. No one local we've talked to want to take the job. Please give us ideas so we can finish our remodel. We've been stuck for 4 MONTHS!
