Pebble Tile not happening. Grout you could use grout colorant but that would be a royal PITA with the grout lines from the pebbles.

Okay thanks! It seems like tiling over the pebble might be my best option.

I'm curious what brighter minds than mind have to say about tiling over a shower floor and how to tie into the drain. I have never heard of tiling over a shower floor.

What about placing teak wood shower flooring on top of your tile?

Per the TCNA you can do it. I am not certain about tieing in as it would most likely depenmd on the system currently used. Personally I do not think it to be a good idea but what do I know..............

We hired someone to tile over the existing tile floor in our shower and it worked well for many years, until we gutted the whole bathroom. The drain was raised to be flush with the new tile using a drain extender.
