My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I purchased a subscription, but still need help finding best true white color for new stucco build that won't reflect green from the surrounding forest. My husbnd wants SW Pure White.
@Lori A. Sawaya - I think I need to sign up for your Paint Color DNA Table! I've saved MANY of your comments that I've come across over the past 5 years in a special file!
White in a forest will do more than reflect green. It will actually become green, when the moss and lichen, and mold, and mildew GROW on it. That's why homes in a darker setting like a lower light shady area, usually use darker colors. So the green stuff doesn't show on it.
@dani_m08 would love to have you join the community.
A new Paint Color DNA Table Pro is launching in 6 days. So many features e.g click on color name and the Colorography pops up — for all 16,000 colors from 16 brands. A fly out tab with The Color Strategist Color Wheel, and more power searching, sorting and comparing colors, (that will be a subscription)
Paint Dot Generator and Mood Board Maker are live now — and FREE.
All brand new; pretty sure we got all the bugs worked out, if you find something, shoot me an email.
Your post has brought @Lori A. Sawaya into the comments. That makes it difficult for the rest of us who have opinions. But, good for Lori as she is so talented and already has new clients waiting to sign up.
But, this is about you, Tamara.
I'll give it a go. Your husband's idea of Pure White, not the best. It can have a yellow undertone. I think you need more of a beige undertone to keep the green at bay.
B.M. Sail Cloth would be one that I would consider.
Front door: B.M. Gettysburg Gray, B.M. recommends it with Sail Cloth because of its green/gray tone. I can see it, as not all of nature around you is just forest green, but it is still in the mix.
