We stopped at the Aquarium in Riverhead about 25 years ago on a trip back from Montauk. The kids loved it. Sorry.. that's all I got!

I lived on LI for 3 years and have been all over. And I can't think of a thing you need to see.

Are there any concerts at Jones Beach Amphitheater? It looks like a fun place on the waterfront, though I've seen videos of crews doing load in and load out with equipment, they often have to move stuff through high tide which floods some of the areas.

Long House reserve is incredible. Fantastic sculpture from well known to budding aritsts a like so thoughtfully placed in outstanding gardens and wooded areas. The best scuplture garden I've been to. Lovely place to stroll. Very close to Pollack / Krasner homes.

I always liked taking the ferry to Shelter Island and going to dinner at the club.

The historic cemeteries like East End burying ground are so interesting- just fun to wander around and read the headstones. (Maybe weird but I always enjoyed it).

Can't think of much else on LI.... My DH grew up in Cold Spring Harbor and that's a beautiful area. You could go to a Mets game :-)
