But Not for me. I love this look. For some time I’ve wished for an every day something

to pull on and go most anywhere. That is usually jeans that need an okay top, or nicer ( Eileen F.) pull on pants. Nice workouts aren’t often cotton, and their matching tops are too warm for summer. (Im too vain for sleeveless.)

The ad claims no iron needed for the linen- cotton blend. Would you medium height gals

consider this a good daily look? I cannot see it on me.( 5’4)

BTW As for the ad: price is cheap so doubtful of the quality. Source also ?

I can’t imagine cotton-linen being no-iron. I can tolerate the rumpledness of linen, but add cotton and it loses something. Then it just look what my mother used to call ”rough dried.”

Where is it from?

Funny, I wore this to lunch today: pretty similar. Sunny and warm enough to eat outside, oceanside!

The top is Chicos no-iron linen in oatmeal. I have never ironed it. Bottoms are madewell linen in white. Never ironed those either. Purse by Inoui. Never ironed.

Martinca, I think you could wear that. I would probably not go with such voluminour sleeved, but I am 5'2or 3"" now (lost some height in the last coupls years sigh) and I weat loose trousers with a long shirt frequently. I say, give it a try. :-)

Ahha! Ok, I do hoard some things. i remembered an outit I got from Saks ( own line) about 100 yesrs ago. Linen-ish will dig it out and demo if it still fits. Stand by .

Not sure about the collar for me, but otherwise, from the right vendor, it would be a yes for me. I'm in cotton pjs now, but I was wearing linen blend pants that were not ironed today with a linen blend top (neither the saem as the pants) during the day and a linen top when we went to a choir concert this evening. IME, cotton or linen that doesn't need to be pressed tends to have a slubbed or crinkled texture. If it's a fine weave, it's more likely to feel it should be pressed. There are fabric treatments that soften and reduce wrinkling and not pressing requires a little more attention to how you launder it.

I really like that sleeve, but when I went to look at it in detail, the image appears to be AI generated or altered.

The matching set look just does not work for my body type— and by set I mean a top and pants of the same color and fabric and both generously cut. A slim top, either tucked in or cropped at waist length, with more generously cut slacks OR a full top (pleated or gathered or a little longer) with slimmer pants are the combinations that don’t make me look like a shapeless toddler. I do think height has a lot to do with it. I’m short-waisted and that also plays a role in outfit proportions.

Mtn, I would not not consider your outfit a set by any stretch…. the button up shirt by itself almost precludes any such definition. And I remember when you bought that purse!!!!!!!
