Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Bathroom sink overhang

I’m going through a renovation and after installing the bathroom sink and cabinets I’m trying to decide whether the overhang is acceptable visually. I knew id end up with an overhang as I struggled to find drawers with the correct depth (51.5cm) that would match my budget so I opted for IKEA. Now wondering whether I saved on the wrong end. Thoughts? :)

It looks like it doesn't fit. However, the overhang could be imagined as a design statement instead of a mistake. If it bothers you every time you look at it, it's best to change it. If you like it when you look at it, keep it.

The top is intended for a 21" cabinet with approx. 1" overhang. If you have a 20" vanity, you will end up with a 2" overhang. It is what it is.

I feel it is visually fine because of the style of the vanity and functionally it is also fine. As long as you will not bump your hip on the corner I feel you are good to go.
