I need to try and remember how Kolbe sweeps were applied. Hopefully it is not screwed on to the bottom side of the the bottom rail. been a while and just do not recall.

The weather stripping that goes all the way around my Euro-wall sliders requires that each door panel be completely removed. They are 10 ft tall, so not a DIY job.

Did you contact the distributor that sold you the products?

The door/window manufacturers never want to speak to the end customer and expect you to go through the distributor or installer (sometimes the same company and sometimes not).

The distributor no longer sells Kolbe. I purchased the door about 5 years ago or so. The installer doesn't really know Kolbe.

Here's a long shot: Have you looked for the installation instructions pdf online? Sometimes adjusting the door sweep is part of the installation process, and by implication, the adjustment process may show how to remove the door sweep.

Another possible location to check for instructions is the big packet of installation material and receipts from when you bought the door or built the house.

Thanks for all the response. Unfortunately that video does not apply to the door i have. I'm not interested in instructing anyone. I want to replace it myself.
