Define update?

Which of the living room photos is your room mow? one has carpet and tv on stairwell wall and one LVP with the tv over the fireplace.

If that white mantel was changed for a chunky wood one that extended from one side to the other it would blend in better with the fireplace and your short end table in the corner looks random, maybe a taller faux tree wood be an improvement?

Painting your kitchen cabinets a buff/cream color would brighten the room as would replacing all those long black handles with chrome or brushed nickel. Those bottom cabinet doors might look better with knobs also IMO. Looks like a great house!
